TOP 10

Top Ten Controversial Episodes

01

Charlie's Mom Has Cancer

In Season 8, Episode 6, Charlie makes his mom fake having cancer in an attempt to get people to donate money to her.  This is obviously very offensive to people affected by cancer in the real world, because cancer is no joke, and nobody should ever fake cancer as an attempt to benefit their own life.

02

Charlie Got Molested

In Season 1 Episode 7, Charlie tells Mac that he had been molested by their mutual elementary school coach, and Mac gets jealous because he was not.  This is obviously offensive to kids who have gone through this before, because it is an extremely life changing event in a negative way, and people that have gone through it had clearly wished they had not, so for Mac to say that he was jealous of Charlie in this situation is clearly inappropriate.

03

The Gang Goes Jihad

In Season 2 Episode 2, an Israeli man buys a place next to the gang's bar, and attempts to get them kicked out.  Instead of handling the situation maturely, the gang decides to dress up as what they believe to look like Jihads and send a terrorist video to the Israeli man to get him to back off.  This obviously offended many people, as the situation is seen as very racist.

04

The Gang Finds a Dumpster Baby

In Season 3 Episode 1, the gang finds a baby in a dumpster, and instead of turning this news into the authorities, they decide to try to and make the baby into a movie star. Obviously they fail, and after performing disgusting and offensive acts towards the baby, Frank thinks it would be a good idea to put it back in the dumpster.  Before this happens, the gang gets reported by people that oversee what they are doing, and the baby gets taken to Child Protective Services.

05

Mac and Dennis: Manhunters

In Season 4 Episode 1, Charlie and Dee have developed a craving for human meat, so they decide to go to the morgue and as they do, they mention that the white man looks more tasty than the black man.  This was seen as wrong on so many levels because they first go to a morgue with the intent to eat someone, who is clearly someone else's family member, but even after this, they proceed to be racist and say that the white man looks tastier than the black man. This was seen as both racist and morally wrong.

06

The Gang Buys a Boat

In Season 6 Episode 3, Dennis buys a boat with the intent to sleep with women, and reason that the women would not refuse sleeping with him because they are alone at sea, and if the refuse, it would be awkward since they are in the middle of the sea, which was seen as wrong by many because Dennis is objectifying women by making it seem as though all he wants to do is sleep with them.

07

Sweet Dee Gets Audited

In Season 7 Episode 4, Dee attempt to cover up her tax fraud by faking her fake child's death, and having a funeral for it.  This can be seen as offensive to so many people, because many parents have lost their children at a young age, and to fake that is is rude and offensive to them because they actually went through this horror.

08

The D.E.N.N.I.S. System

In Season 5 Episode 10, Dennis creates a system to get women to fall in love with him, and do anything he wants, only to break their hearts and betray them.  There is a lot of stalking, and other illegal activities that go into this system. This system is offensive to women because it objectifies them, and shows that Dennis does not care about women, or believe that their feelings matter.

09

The Gang Gets Extreme: Home Makeover Edition

In Season 4 Episode 12,  the gang kidnaps a family, while forcing the father of the family into credit card debt, all while burning the family's house down.  They did this in an attempt to give the family a house makeover. This was seen as wrong because they messed a family's life up pretty bad, and really had no way to fix it, but the family got lucky in the end by inheriting a mansion from someone else.

10

Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person

In Season 3 Episode 9, Dee starts dating a guy, and Dennis convinces Dee that he has special needs.  The gang refers to this man as "retarded" even though they have no idea if he actually has a problem.  This is obviously offensive to many, as the word "retarded" is used in a derogatory manner, and is offensive to those who actually have special needs, because they should not be referred to as "retarded."
